It works straight out of the box, which means that you can just extract the application's executable and run it right away. Using Discographer is pretty simple. All you have to do is import your music folders and the application will do the rest. Assuming you have your music sorted in folders, by artist or album, and properly tagged, the application will tell you exactly what you have and what you're missing. Even if you have hundreds of songs, it takes only a few seconds to scan a folder.

It should be fairly obvious that Discographer uses metadata from your audio files to figure out what releases you have. While it doesn't display individual songs, the application displays all the albums, singles, EPs and compilation made by an artist, as well as other works.

Missing releases and the ones you already have are highlighted differently, to make it easy to distinguish between them and you can also use filters to display only the ones you have or the ones you don't. What's more, each missing release is displayed together with a search button, so you can look it up on the Internet.
